Just leave it near enough from them and it will suck the living daylight out of them. At higher level when you have better ability it'll be easier. you ll be lucky to hit them 3 times and run away without a 3rd of your vitality unmolested. as you basically gonna have to engage them 'hit and run'. You have to have enough food for vitality. At low level, it's a gruelling task to defeat them.
